DVD Player Description

The Panasonic DMRE100HEBS is an award winning recommended DVD player / recorder. New features on this DVD player / recorder include a 80Gig hard drive for up to 106 hours of recording, ideal for backups, CCTV or home video recordings, it's multi-purpose.

As well as the standard features listed above, the Panasonic DMRE100HEBS has an built-in 80GB hard disk which allows easy storage and viewing of still (JPEG) and moving (MPEG2/MPEG4) pictures with the SD card slot.
You can record MPEG2, or simultaneously record MPEG2 and MPEG4 onto the hard disk. MPEG4 recordings can then be transferred at high speed from the hard disk to an SD card and MPEG2 recordings can be converted to MPEG4 for transfering to an SD card.

The DMRE100HEBS when combined with Motion DV Studio version 4.7 editing software will allow output from a PC to be recorded onto a DVD-RAM or DVD-R disc via the DV Input.

Panasonic have their own format, DVD-RAM which can record up to 12 hours - you can use DVD-R discs also for up to 6 hours of recording. This combined with all region dvd playback. In addition this player will accept DV input for video cameras with Exact Fit recording so there are no annoying gaps in your video recordings.
